NEW NONCOMMERCIAL DRIVING TEST
All MVA Full Service Branch Offices are administering a new non-commercial Class C driving skills test that consists of both course maneuvers and a public road portion to test various driving skills. The test will evaluate skills currently being taught at MVA approved driver's education schools.
All driving tests will require an appointment to be scheduled.
All driver license candidates can best prepare for this test by fully completing the required 60 hours of behind the wheel practice.
MVA’s examiners are trained to assess the skill levels of DL candidates with the on-course/on-road maneuvers.
All noncommercial test applicants should come prepared with a test vehicle that is in safe operating condition and has at least 1/2 tank of gas. The test applicant and the supervising driver/vehicle owner must complete and sign an MVA "Certification of Insurance & Authorization to Operate Vehicle" form before the skills test can begin.
Please see, "How to Prepare for Your Driver’s Test" for more information.
