Required Sources of Proof
As part of the process of obtaining a Maryland Learner's Permit, Provisional License, a full driver's license, I.D. card, or Moped Permit, you are to bring with you certain documents that prove your age and identity, lawful presence, social security number or proof of ineligibility, and Maryland residency.

Fees:
- While the MVA does not charge a fee to review the customer's documents, a fee is charged for the MVA product that you request.
- If a translator or interpreter is utilized, the translator or interpreter may charge a fee.
