REAL ID

REAL ID is the federal security standard for IDs. You must have a Real ID compliant license, ID card or an acceptable alternative identification as approved by TSA to board domestic commercial flights or enter a federal facility.

Collect My REAL ID Documents

To be considered REAL ID compliant, you must have the required (original or certified copy) documents on file with the MVA. These include:

One Proof of Age and Identity
One Proof of Social Security
TWO Proofs of Maryland residency
