Serving as Maryland’s Governor’s Highway Safety Representative, the MVA Administrator provides overall leadership for the state’s highway safety program. The MHSO is housed within the MVA, with direct supervision provided by the MVA’s Chief Deputy Administrator.
The MVA’s Maryland Highway Safety Office is dedicated to saving lives and preventing injuries by reducing motor vehicle crashes through the administration of a comprehensive network of traffic safety programs.
